Edenville Township is seeking a volunteer for appointment to the Wixom Lake Improvement Board. Our current representative, Ray Drumright, recently retired and has decided to step down from his appointment to the board. Thank you, Ray, for many years of valued service. Interested persons should be an Edenville resident. They should, but not necessarily, live or own property, on or near, and be familiar with, Wixom Lake. June 10th, 2025. At this meeting the 25-26 Budget, will be reviewed and open for public comment.

In Honor of Richard (Dick) Ripke:
It's with heavy hearts we announce the passing of one of our own Richard (Dick) Ripke. After retiring from the City of Midland Fire Department, Dick became the Deputy Chief and Training Officer of Edenville Twp. He spent the last 30+ years serving Edenville Township in those roles until his recent passing. He wore many different hats in the community over the years. He enjoyed teaching at the Midland County Firemen’s Academy, Search & Rescue, Fire Science program at Delta college and served on many county boards. He will be deeply missed by all. Please keep his family in your Thoughts and Prayers.

Hearing On Dangerous Structure
The reason for this hearing is to determine if the dwelling owned by Virgil Lavier, located at 5845 N. Lake Dr., Sanford, MI 48657, whose name and property description appears on the last Edenville Township tax assessment records, is a dangerous building, pursuant to Edenville Township Ordinance No. 177. The owner or other interested parties shall have the opportunity to show cause at the hearing why the hearing officer should not order the structure to be demolished, otherwise made safe, or properly maintained. The hearing officer shall take testimony from the enforcing agency, the owner of the property, and any interested party.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 13, 2025, 7:00 p.m.

Edenville Township has partnered with Midland County Veterans Services to provide a monthly opportunity to meet with Midland County Veterans Service Officer, Bruce Lee Hernandez (phone 989-832-6642) here in Edenville.
Bruce can help Veterans obtain their compensation/pensions, medical care, military records (i.e DD214), grave markers, as well as assist with availability of other Veterans Programs.
If you are a Veteran and/or a Veteran’s surviving spouse and have questions, please take advantage of these opportunities.
Edenville also has ongoing availability with Matthew Clark, Michigan Veteran Navigator (phone 989-272-7375) on the third Wednesday of every month from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Edenville Township Office.

EDENVILLE TOWNSHIP residents can now pay their property taxes with a credit card or debit card.
Taxes may be paid in 2 ways by calling 1-888-604-7888 (allpaid) or on your computer or smartphone by going to:

You will need your property tax bill with you to do this as your parcel # is needed for the transaction.
AllPaid does charge the residents a courtesy fee for doing this.
Supervisor Terrance Hall presented a plaque to Mr. Ethan Finney for his sincere portrayal in the cemetery reenactment event at the Old Edenville Cemetery.
Edenville Township is pleased to announce that Howdens Lawn Service has secured the contract to mow all of the township properties for 2022.

Edenville township will be increasing the cost of cemetery plots on September 1st. Until then you can purchase the burial rights for 2 plots for $200 and 4 plots $400. After September 1st the cost will be $600 for 2 and $1200 for 4.
You must be a resident or property owner in Edenville township to purchase.
