Treasurer

The Treasurer is one of the five members of the Edenville Township Board. The duties of the Treasurer and the Township Board are described at the web pages provided by the Michigan Township Association and particularly at Townships in Michigan.

Winter property tax bills are mailed approximately December 1. Be sure to review the treasurer's tax info sheet. The due date is Feb 14 and a penalty will be added after that date and the first of each month that there is a balance. Twp office will be open Feb 14, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Summer property tax bills are mailed in the summer. The due date is Sept 14 and a penalty will be added after that date and the first of each month that there is a balance.

*State law prohibits reduction of penalties and fees for failure to receive a tax bill and/or refund for payment of property tax on the wrong parcel.

You must be living in your principle residence by May 1 of the current tax year for it to qualify for that year.

You may only claim one principle residence.

Summer Tax Deferment Forms

Can also be picked up at the Edenville Township office, or you may contact the treasurer to request a form.

Forms must be returned to the treasurer no later than September 15 in order to qualify for deferment on the current summer taxes.
